This series utilizes the book named above, by Susan Gregg-Schroeder. She is an ordained minister who has suffered with depression. She emphasizes the importance of living WITH depression, not simply having it or recovering from it.

The Dead Sea Scrolls
Led by: Jeanne Nijhowne

We’ve all heard of them but what do we really know? In this class, we’ll discuss the very latest research on the scrolls themselves and the nearby site of Qumran. Among the topics will be: how the scrolls were discovered, the controversies and intrigues surrounding them, competing hypotheses regarding the nature of Qumran, and other fascinating questions both archaeological and historical. Bring your curiosity and your questions!
