boulder renaissance consort The Boulder Renaissance Consort, formed in 1980, specializes in performing music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Notable appearances from recent seasons include performances with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, at the Colorado Governor's Mansion and Denver Art Museum, the International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University, and for the American Orf-Schulwerk national conference in Seattle. | heavenly harp The not-for-profit ministry of Heavenly Harp (Karin and Joy Gunderson) was founded in 2004 with the mission of making available the unique healing benefits of harp music combined with the power of scripture and prayer. Karin Gunderson is Harp Practitioner for Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona, and is fondly known as the “singing harpist.” Karin plays harp and sings for as many as 50 hospice patients and their families each week. The amazing experiences she has shared with so many patients and family members at hospice have inspired the vision for the Heavenly Harp recording concert ministry. Free-will offering. |

community sunday with Kutandara
marimba Boulder’s Kutandara Center provides multicultural experiences for youth and adults that deepen their understanding of themselves, their communities, and cultures other than their own. The Kutandara Center ensembles appear throughout the region, offering performances of music from Zimbabwe, African and Caribbean drumming, and education in Shona language. You won’t want to miss this Sunday as Kutandara joins us in worship! |
