Growing in faith at Atonement is focused on building a Christian Learning Community — helping people of ALL ages grow in discipleship, which includes knowing, believing, and practicing the word of God and stretching ourselves in faith.

Children's Church
After the Children's Sermon portion of the Sunday worship service, primary grade children are invited to a separate service to hear the lessons of the day. They return to their parents in time to participate in communion.

Christian basics/basically christian
A continuation of the Table Talk of the Fellowship Dinner. This casual discussion group covers the basic tenents of Lutheranism and Christianity in general. They meet on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00. Come for dinner at 5:30!

Each Sunday morning, three separate tracks offer specific units for 5 or 6 weeks that are designed to challenge us to put our faith into action. Choose your topic weekly. The tracks are offered concurrently and fall into the categories of: Bible & Theology, Life Issues, and Worldly Issues. CURRENT SERIES SCHEDULE

Confirmation
With parents and pastors working together, students grow in their Christian faith as they learn about Lutheran theology using relevant and interesting resources. The program includes retreats, service projects, and a year of one-on-one mentoring with an adult member of the congregation. Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Grades 6 - 8.

Faith & Film
The high school and middle school youth meet on Sunday mornings to watch clips from a popular movie and discuss Biblical themes found in the story. Grades 6 through 12.

Godly Play© Sunday School
Our Sunday school curriculum focuses on storytelling that encourages kids to think, wonder, and imagine as Christians, while the structure of the hour parallels that of a worship service, including Gathering Time, Storytelling, Work Time, and Closing. Short field trips that relate to the stories being told in class are scheduled throughout the year. Grades pre-K through 2.

God's Children play 'n sing
This Musikgarten program includes singing, dancing, listening, improvising, and prayer. Sunday mornings. Parents and children ages birth - 3 years.

Growing in Christ
Upper elementary youth meet for in-depth studies of Bible stories. Sunday mornings. Grades 3 through 5.

Men's Fellowship Breakfast & Bible Study
All men are invited to participate in fellowship, work projects, charitable activities, prayer, and discussion of weekly scripture readings from the lectionary. The best breakfast deal in town! Tuesday mornings. 7:00 -8:00 am.

Summer Day Camp
The last week of July is full of opportunities to gather for fun and praise. A team of counselors from Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp lead the ministry. Pre-school - grade 5.

Women's Fellowship & Bible Study
All women are invited to enjoy this warm fellowship, light lunch, and Bible study. The studies are taken from Lutheran Woman Today magazine. First Thursdays of the month at 11:30 a.m.
